Priluck Nordone Dunwoody High School Science Scholarship Winner

Meet Kaylyn Sinisgalli, the winner of the Priluck Nordone Dunwoody High School Science Scholarship for 2016.  This award is given, each year, to a graduating Dunwoody High student who excels in a science field.  Kaylyn is graduating with top honors and  planning to pursue a career in Environmental Engineering at Georgia Tech.  She will minor in Spanish and hopes to join the Tech Marching Band.

Drs. Priluck and Nordone and the entire Dentistry With a Difference team wish Kaylyn much luck in her chosen career!!!

Dentistry with a Difference supports Dunwoody Bear Patrol

The Dentistry with a Difference Team had a blast collecting teddy bears for the Dunwoody Police Department Bear Patrol.  These bears ride in our local police officers' cars and are given to children during emergencies to help ease their fears.  What a wonderful kindness!

Dentistry with a Difference is always proud to support our local Police and Fire Departments in their continuing efforts to protect our community.  Are you aware that the police and fire department personnel carry teddy bears in their vehicles to give to children in emergency situations? 

Dentistry with a Difference is again collecting new and ‘gently loved’ teddy bears.  This year, with the help of our incredible patients in the Dunwoody community, Dentistry with a Difference’s goal is to collect even more teddy bears in April than the 500 bears collected several years ago.

Please help us with this wonderful cause!  Kindly bring your teddy bear contributions to our office between April 1^st and April 30^th and we will deliver them to the Dunwoody Police Department.  

We are accepting any size bear as well as popular Beanie Babies, Webkins and Build a Bear.  Help us put a smile on the face of a child, during and following an emergency situation with a wonderful teddy bear!

Halloween Treats for Troops was a Record-Breaker

Thank you to all our friends and colleagues for your generous support of our 2014 Halloween Candy Drive.  We delivered over 800 lbs. of candy to the Veterans Administration!  This year set a Dentistry with a Difference record!

Thank you to the Dunwoody Mayor and the local business community for helping us show appreciation for the service that these brave men and women have given to our country.  Let's break this record again next year!

We again honored our troops overseas by sending them Halloween treats!  Thank you to all that contributed and a Special Thank You to the service men and women that serve and protect us.  We are humbly grateful!

2013 Priluck and Nordone, Dentistry With a Difference Science Scholarship Winner

Congratulations to Jonathan Olson!  Jonathan is the winner of the 2013 Priluck and Nordone, Dentistry With a Difference Science Scholarship, given yearly to the best science student at Dunwoody High School! 

In addition to his numerous math and science honor achievements, Jonathan helped create Dunwoody High's first ice hockey team and is also a biology tutor. 

We wish every success to Jonathan as he starts college at Northeastern University, and a special Congrats to his proud Mom, Page!

Dr. Nordone honored for volunteer work

While at a gala for Childspring International Dr. Nordone was shocked and surprised when he was presented with the Dr. Mark Silverman Global Heart Award. This annual award is presented to a physician/dentist who reflects Dr. Silverman's passion, commitment and hope for physical healing. Dr. Nordone was recognized by Childspring for his volunteer work helping children from other countries with limited access to dental care. Childspring is an international children's medical charity.

Dr. Nordone Amazon Medical Mission Trip 2012

Dr. Nordone went on a medical mission to the Amazon. He flew to the city of Manaus in Brazil where he boarded a medical boat equipped with a small dental clinic. There was a slight surprise during the first night when the engine broke down causing the boat to drift into the bank of the Amazon. Although they were stranded for two days the group of doctors was able to continue their mission and sailed 380 miles down the Amazon to a remote community to provide care. Hundreds of people stood in line to be seen.
